SAN DIEGO, CA (WSAU) – The Badgers basketball team fell to Texas Christian in the finals of the Rady Children’s Invitational in San Diego.
The Badgers got off to a slow start and never recovered. The Badgers got within 7 points in the second half.
John Blackwell scored 30 for the Badgers in defeat. Nick Boyd had 14.
David Punch led the Horned Frogs with 17.
The Badgers are now 5-2, and play their Big Ten opener on Wednesday at home against Northwestern.
