Green Bay Packers
DENVER, CO (WSAU) — The Green Bay Packers fell to the Denver Broncos 34-26 on Sunday in Colorado. It was a costly loss both in the standings and with numerous injuries to key Packer players.
The most notable injury was to star defensive lineman Micah Parsons who is feared to have torn an ACL in his knee. He will be re-evaluated today. Wide Receiver Christian Watson left the game with a chest injury and OL Zach Tom also was injured although it’s not expected to be serious.
The loss along with a Chicago Bears win also dropped the Packers back to the 7th a final playoff spot with three regular season games remaining.
Jordan Love was 24-40 for 276 yards and one touchdown. He also threw two interceptions. Josh Jacobs scored both Packer touchdowns, one through the air and one on a 40 yard run.
The Packers fall to 9-4-1 on the season and will play at Chicago this Saturday night.
