MC FARLAND, WI (WSAU) — A semi crash along Interstate 39/90 in Dane County has closed a portion of the highway.
The Wisconsin State Patrol reports that a truck carrying food products left the road and struck a high-voltage power pole, bringing the lines down onto the highway.
The driver was trapped and required extraction. They were hospitalized for non-life-threatening injuries.
Two lanes of I-39/90 northbound and the I-39/90 northbound on ramp from County N will be closed through this weekend while crews make repairs. Drivers should consider alternate routes and plan for backups along I-39/90 north near Stoughton.
The suggested detour follows I-39/90 north to US 51/WIS 73 exit 160 (near Edgerton). Wis 73 north to US 12/18 west.
