ATLANTA, GA (WSAU) — Giannis Antetokounmpo had 21 points, 17 rebounds, and six assists, and the Milwaukee Bucks held off a late Atlanta rally for a 112-110 victory over the Hawks Monday afternoon.
Milwaukee led by as many as 23 points in the second half, only to see the Hawks come all the way back. Atlanta had a chance to win it at the buzzer, but a last-second shot from CJ McCollum clanged off the front of the rim.
Antetokounmpo got plenty of help on the night. Every Bucks starter scored at least ten points. Bobby Portis dropped 19 from the bench, while AJ Green chipped in 18.
Myles Turner and Ryan Rollins each added 14 points.
Milwaukee shot 49% from the field, including 44% (16-36) from three-point range.
The Bucks are now 18-24 on the season and will return home to host the defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday night.
