Milwaukee Brewers
MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Brewers have sent infielders Caleb Durbin and Andruw Monasterio to the Boston Red Sox as part of a six-player swap.
Infielder/Catcher Anthony Seigler will also head to Boston, along with one competitive balance draft selection.
Milwaukee receives two left-hand pitching prospects, Kyle Harrison and Shane Drohan, and Infielder David Hamilton.
Harrison owns a career record of 8-8 in three seasons, split between San Francisco and Boston. He was a former top prospect in the Giants’ system before he was shipped to Boston in the Rafel Danvers trade. Drohan has yet to see any major-league action, spending last season in the Red Sox minor league system, where he went 5-2 with a 3.0 ERA.
Pitchers and Catchers will report to the Brewers Spring Training complex this week. The Spring Training season begins Saturday, February 21st, against Cleveland.
