WISCONSIN RAPIDS, WI (WSAU) — Wood County will close its snowmobile trail on Wednesday due to deteriorating conditions.
Parks & Forestry Maintenance Supervisor & Snowmobile/ATV Trail Coordinator Dan Vollert made the announcement on Tuesday. Other outdoor recreation areas, including Powers Bluff Ski and Tubing Hills, Nepco Lake County Park multi-use and cross-country ski trails, and Richfield 360 County Forest multi-use trails are open. Users should beware of deteriorating conditions in those areas.
