Wisconsin Badagers
MADISON, WI (WSAU) The Badgers hockey team lost their final home game of the regular season, 3-1, to Michigan.
Michigan broke a 1-1 tie with a late goal in the second period to secure the win.
Christian Fitzgerald scored the Badgers only goal at 4:33 of the first period. The Badgers were shut out the rest of the way. Trailing 2-1, Michigan added an empty net goal with 13-seconds remaining.
The Badgers are now 19-11-2 overall and 12-10-0 in Big Ten play.
The Badgers close out the regular season with Thursday and Friday road games against Penn State.

The Badgers women’s hockey team beat St. Cloud State on Saturday, 9-2. The have a Sunday game at 11am vs St. Cloud.

The Badgers basketball team plays Sunday against Iowa. Game coverage begins at 2:30pm, tip off a 3pm on WSAU.
