GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) — The Green Bay Packers are reminding Season Ticket Holders of a new policy that could lead to them losing their seats.
The team will send renewal notices and pricing details for the 2026-27 season in the next few weeks. That will also include a reminder that season tickets are intended for the direct purchaser, and not as another income stream.
“Our Season Ticket Holders are central to Lambeau Field’s significant homefield advantage and gameday experience. We continue to emphasize the purpose of having season tickets, which is to attend games and contribute to that atmosphere,” said Craig Benzel, Packers vice president of sales and business development. “Simply put: Packers Season Ticket Holders who purchase their tickets with the sole intent of reselling them should not be Packers Season Ticket Holders.”
The team adds that if the Season Ticket Holder cannot personally attend a game, they should make efforts to ensure their season tickets will go to another Packer fan. Season Ticket Holders who repeatedly resell their season tickets, whether on the secondary market or through ticket brokers (directly or indirectly), could have their renewal impacted without further notice.

A similar warning was given in 2025 after complaints from fans and players that NFC North home games were starting to feel like road contests. A September 2023 home game against Detroit yielded a viral moment when a photo of the crowd behind the Green Bay bench showed a sea of “Honolulu Blue,” a trademark of the Lions and their fan base.
The Packers’ season ticket wait list has about 155,000 names, an increase of nearly 20,000 from this time last year.
