PEORIA, AZ (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Brewers had a 5-1 lead going into the 8th inning but the San Diego Padres plated six runs against a pair of minor-league pitchers to hand the Brewers their 4th loss to start the spring. The final was 7-5.
The Brewers did get home runs from Andrew Vaughn and Brandon Lockridge (his 2nd of the spring). Joey Ortiz also registered two hits.
Craig Yoho, Abner Uribe and Easton McGee all tossed scoreless innings.
The Brewers will face the A’s this afternoon.
