Wisconsin Badgers
EUGENE, ORE (WSAU) — The cold-shooting Wisconsin mens basketball team dropped an 85-71 decision to the Oregon Ducks on Wednesday night in Eugene.
The Badgers shot just 33% from the field and 31% from three-point range in the loss. The Ducks struggled as well in the first half but shot over 70% from the field and nailed six three pointers in nine tries in the second.
John Blackwell had 22 points but was only 6-18 from the field. All six of his makes were from three-point range. Nick Boyd had 11 and was the only other Badger in double figures.
The Badgers, now 19-9 overall, 11-6 in the Big Ten, continues their West Coast swing on Saturday afternoon at Washington.
