WAUSAU, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – The Sylvan Hill snow tubing hill is now closed for the season.
Wausau & Marathon County Parks, Recreation & Forestry said in a Facebook post on Friday:
“We had hoped to extend the season a little longer, but the warm temperatures this week have made it impossible to continue operating safely. While we wish we could have stayed open a bit longer, we are grateful for every run, every laugh, and every visit that made this season so memorable. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported Sylvan Hill this winter. Your enthusiasm and participation are what make this hill such a special place for our community. We look forward to welcoming everyone back for the 2026–2027 tubing season.”
