STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) — A man is in critical condition after a stabbing at a party in Stevens Point Sunday morning.
Officers were called to a home on Frontenac Avenue at about 5:00 AM. The victim was rushed to a local hospital, and officers took one suspect into custody.
Investigators determined that the gathering had “turned physical” just before the stabbing. All involved were known to each other.
Police emphasize that the incident was isolated to the group and there is no ongoing danger to the public. Names of those involved have not been released, as the investigation continues.
