STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) — Police in Stevens Point have identified the suspect in Sunday’s stabbing incident.
Nathan E. Williams is accused of aggravated battery and is being held in the Portage County jail. Investigators say he stabbed the victim during a house party, which became violent.
The unidentified victim remains hospitalized and is in stable condition. Police haven’t said what led to the incident.
Officers have called the incident “isolated,” and emphasized that there is no danger to the public.
