WAUSAU, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – Marathon County has appointed Meagan Barnett as the new Public Health Coordinator for Homelessness Response, effective March 16, 2026.
This position was created following the efforts of the City of Wausau and Marathon County Homelessness Task Force.
Barnett will lead efforts to enhance the county’s homelessness response system. Her focus will include strengthening partnerships, improving information sharing, and developing a long-term strategic plan.
