WORCESTER, MA (WSAU) The Badgers hockey team is bound for the Frozen Four with a 4-3 overtime win over Michigan State.
Senior Ben Dexheimer scored the game winning goal 24-seconds into overtime. The Badgers rallied with back-to-back goals 34 seconds apart from Luke Osburn and Gavin Morrissey to tie the game 3-3.
The Badgers won 3-out-of-5 games against Michigan State this season.
The Frozen Four is April 9th and 11th in Las Vegas. The Badgers, 23-12-2 this season, will face North Dakota on Thursday.
