Milwaukee Brewers
MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) – The Brewers rallied from 5-runs down to sweep the White Sox 9-7 on Sunday.
Milwaukee scored 6 runs in the 8th, capped off by a Christian Yelich three-run homer. It was the first pinch-hit home run of Yelich’s career.
The Brewers trailed 7-2 after 3 innings. Chicago’s Munetaka Murakami homered to left for the third time in his first three major league games. Brewers starter Brandon Sproat struggled with his control early. Jake Woodford got the win in relief. Trevor Megill got a save.
The Brewers are at home against Tampa Bay on Monday at 6:05pm on WSAU.
