MOSCOW, April 9 (Reuters) – Russia has handed Ukraine the bodies of 1,000 dead Ukrainian soldiers in exchange for 41 dead Russians, the RBC news outlet cited lawmaker Shamsail Saraliyev as saying.
The two sides have periodically exchanged their war dead in the course of the conflict.
