MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) – The Brewers completed a sweep of the Cubs on Wednesday night, 8-6.
Starter Logan Henderson pitched five innings, allowing only one run on two hits. He struck out 6.
The Brewers built an early lead on a 3-run homer from Christian Yelich. Jackson Churio and William Contreras also hit home runs.
Chicago scored 5 times in the 9th, helped by 4 walks by Brandon Sproat in relief.
The Brewers have the best record in baseball at 91-56. They now lead the NL Central by 10 games.
Milwaukee is off on Thursday and host the Cincinnati Reds on Friday night.
