STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) — A former NFL lineman headlines the SPASH Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2026.
Ryan Ramczyk is one of nearly 20 former student-athletes due to be inducted on October 3rd. The ceremony will take place at the SentryWorld Atrium. at 6:00 PM, with a social hour beginning at 4:30.
Ramczyk graduated from SPASH in 2011 and went on to play football at UWSP and UW-Madison. He was named All-Big Ten in 2016.
The New Orleans Saints selected him in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft (#32 overall), and he spent eight years playing in the Big Easy, making him “one of the most accomplished professional athletes to come from SPASH,” according to a press release.
He retired after sitting out the 2024 season due to injury.
