Randy Jenks
WAUTOMA, WI (WSAU) — A man accused of killing his grandmother in Waushara County has been scheduled for trial in early 2027.
Randy Jenks has been scheduled for a one-week jury trial from February 1st through the 5th as he faces one count of intentional homicide. Investigators say he killed Patricia Glenn at her home in March, then fled the state.
Officers arrested him in Utah the next day. A bloody knife was found with his belongings.
He has pleaded not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect. Both sides have been reviewing a recent mental health evaluation.
A status conference is scheduled for October 27th. The 37-year-old is being held on a $2 million bond and faces a mandatory life sentence if found guilty at trial.
