LOS ANGELES, CA (WSAU) The Brewers are in the World Series for the first time in 44-years.
Milwaukee rallied from a 4-0 deficit to sweep the Dodgers, 6-4 on Thursday night.
Garrett Mitchell hit a go=ahead homer in the 6th inning, and the Brewers bullpen held the lead through the late-innings.
“We were hungry, and as long as it’s an even playing field, we’re going to come in and give it our best shot to win. That’s exactly what we did,” said Brewers manager Pat Murphy.
Jake Bauers was the series MVP.
The Brewers now have a week off before facing either the Rays or Guardians. The World Series opener will be October 23rd in Milwaukee.
