MADISON, WI (WTAQ) – The Wisconsin DNR says a social media post claiming that Governor Evers issued an emergency order making changes to the upcoming nine-day gun deer season is false.
They say Evers has not issued an emergency order making changes to the upcoming nine-day gun deer season, and that all 2020 hunting seasons will proceed as usual with all normal rules and regulations in place.
The DNR continued to say that deer season ‘is indeed looking different in 2020’, especially deer camp. For those heading into the woods this season, try staying close to home, avoid social gatherings and keep your crew to your household.
If such a change were issued, Wisconsin DNR would post about it on their social media and at http://dnr.wi.gov.
