PORT EDWARDS, WI (WSAU) — The Port Edwards Fire Department is continuing to ask for residents to help out two families who lost everything after house fires last week.
One occurred on Wednesday, the other happened on Saturday.
According to fire officials, one person is being treated for burns from the first incident. The family from Saturday’s incident is safe.

B’s Taphouse in Wisconsin Rapids donated proceeds from Sunday’s sales to the families, and also accepted cash donations and other items.
