COLLEGE PARK, MD (WSAU) — Micah Potter had a double-double to lead Wisconsin over Maryland 61-55 on Wednesday night.
Potter had 23 points and 12 rebounds in the victory. D’Mitrick Trice added 13.
The Badgers led by 18 at halftime but a furious Terrapin comeback cut that to three early in the second half. Potter than converted a three point play and hit a three pointer and the Badgers held on.
Wisconsin, now 13-4, 7-3 in Big Ten, will face Penn State twice in a row Saturday and Tuesday.
