MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Bucks had one of the best teams in the West down seven with four minutes to play but couldn’t close the deal. They fell behind by six before rallying to send the game to overtime where the Phoenix Suns prevailed 128-127 at Fiserv Forum.
With the game tied at 127 and less than a second on the clock, PJ Tucker was called for a foul on Devin Booker who had heaved up a desperation shot. Replay confirmed the foul and Booker hit one of two free throws for the final margin.
The Bucks played the final four minutes of overtime without Giannis Antetokounmpo who cramped up and fell to the floor. He finished with 33 points and eight rebounds.
Khris Middleton had 26 points, seven boards and five assists. Holiday added 25 points and eight assists.
The Bucks drop to 35-22 and face big matchups with Philadelphia on Thursday and Saturday, both in Milwaukee.
