Jesse Winker
WISCONSIN RAPIDS, WI (WSAU) — A two-day jury trial has been scheduled for a Warrens man accused of sexually assaulting a child more than ten years ago.
Jesse Winker will face a 12-person jury on February 2nd and 3rd, 2022 on charges that he sexually assaulted a child.
The formal complaint alleges that Winker assaulted the same victim more than 3 times between 2007 and 2008. At the time the victim was around five years old.
In addition to the count of repeated first-degree sexual assault of the same child, Winker is also scheduled to have a status conference for a count of felony bail jumping and a misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct on those same days.
Winker is being held on bond.
It’s unclear what led officers to arrest Winker on the charges more than ten years after the incidents occurred.
