RIB MOUNTAIN, WI (WSAU) — A woman has been arrested for her second OWI.
According to a release from the Wisconsin State Patrol, a 2003 GMC pick-up truck was stopped for a traffic stop on US Highway 51 just south of County Road NN for a speeding violation early Wednesday afternoon. During the traffic stop, the trooper noticed the driver showing signs of being under the influence and conducted a field sobriety test.
Following the field sobriety test and a brief investigation, the trooper determined the driver was under the influence. The trooper also observed two children in the car, both under the age of 8. The driver has been identified as 31-year-old Molly Goldsworthy of Manitowish Waters.
Goldsworthy was arrested for operating a motor vehicle under the influence second offense with passengers under the age of 16 and possession of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).
