TOWN OF HARRISON, WI (WSAU) — One person is dead after an ATV crash in Lincoln County on Saturday.
First responders were called to the public ATV trail located west of County Road B in the Town of Harrison at around 12:15. That’s where they found a man with non-life-threatening injuries and a woman with serious injuries.
The woman, identified as 51 year old Jennifer L. Kaine, was airlifted to the hospital where she died.
Investigators say the couple was driving southbound on the trail when the man lost control. The ATV left the trail and struck a tree, throwing both passengers off the vehicle. Neither person was wearing a helmet, and alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
