MILWAUKEE, Wi (WSAU) — A number of injured Milwaukee Brewer players are almost ready to return to action.
Avisail Garcia, who has missed a few games recently including the last two with back stiffness, is expected to play today.
Shortstop Willy Adames, who has been on the IL with a quadriceps strain, is expected back on Monday. He did a pre-game workout on Friday and looked good according to manager Craig Counsell.
And pitcher Brett Anderson is close to returning. He’s been on the IL with a bruised shoulder. He threw a bullpen on Friday and had no issues. He could return on Wednesday.
