CAROL STREAM, IL (WSAU-WAOW) — An extradition hearing for the man accused of killing an Oneida County woman has been delayed again.
The hearing for Christopher Anderson, 30, is on hold until November 11.
Anderson is accused of killing the mother of his child, Hannah Miller, last June along U.S. 8 in Oneida County. He was a fugitive until caught on September 7th in Carol Stream, Illinois.
Anderson is fighting his return to Wisconsin. The DuPage County Sheriffs Department says it is waiting for paperwork from Wisconsin to present in court. A judge will then rule on whether Anderson will be sent back to Oneida County to face charges.
During their investigation, police uncovered information that another man, Seth Wakefield, plotted with Anderson in Miller’s death.
They said Wakefield, 24, knew of Anderson’s plans to kill not only Miller, but her parents as well, and that Anderson then planned to abduct the child he shared with Miller. He is in custody, charged with being a party to first-degree homicide.
