MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — A Wausau woman will serve over seven years in prison for distributing pornographic images of children.
Natalie J. Ticho was handed a 90-month federal prison sentence after pleading guilty to the distribution of child porn. It’s part of a plea deal that was reached earlier this summer.
Investigators say Ticho used a messenger application to send an undercover officer numerous images while also engaging in graphic conversations involving children. They were able to tie the user name to the 25-year-old and obtained a search warrant for her Wausau home and mobile devices. The search turned up numerous images and several other accounts used for the distribution of child porn.

Ticho was originally arrested on the charge in November of 2020.
In addition to the seven-and-a-half-year sentence, Ticho will serve ten years of probation and will be required to register as a sex offender. US District Judge Willam C. Griesbach called the incident a “terrible crime,” and noted the severe nature of the case as the reason for the sentence.
The arrest and conviction were part of “Operation Kick Boxer,” which involved numerous agencies statewide including the Wausau PD, Marathon County Sheriff’s office and DA, Winnebego County Sheriff’s Office, and the Milwaukee Division of the FBI.
