MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) The Milwaukee Brewers are not renewing the contract of hitting coach Andy Haines.
The club also informed assistant hitting coach Jacob Cruz that he could explore other options while the team looks for Haines’ replacement. Haines was hired by the Brewers in November of 2018.
Milwaukee had the worst batting average in the National League during the 2021 season, and they scored just six runs in four games during the NLDS against Atlanta, which they lost three games to one.
