RUDOLPH, Wis. (WSAU) — Fire destroyed a storage building Tuesday morning north of Rudolph.
The fire was reported at 5:51 a.m. in the Town of Rudolph along highways 13 and 34 near County Highway C. The building had 14 storage units, and all of them were rented to clients. The entire structure was destroyed.
Rudolph Fire Department was assisted by firefighters from Vesper and Grand Rapids, plus the Wood County Sheriff’s Rescue unit. Investigators are trying to determine what caused the fire.
The highways were closed for a few hours, but they were re-opened at around 9:15 a.m.
