MADISON, WI (WSAU) — The #1 ranked Wisconsin womens hockey team beat #2 Ohio State 2-1 in overtime on Sunday before a full house at LaBahn Arena.
Nicole Lamantia had both Badger goals including the game-winner just over a minute into the extra period. Sophie Shirley had the assist.
Kennedy Blair had 25 saves in the victory.
The Badgers, now 10-0, will head to Mankato for games on Friday and Saturday.
The #3 ranked Wisconsin volleyball rallied from a 2-1 deficit and beat #12 Penn State in five sets on Saturday night.
Dan Rettke led Wisconsin with 24 kills with Julia Orzol adding 19. Devyn Robinson had a double-double with 11 kills and 10 blocks.
Sydney Hilley had 65 assists and 18 digs and Lauren Barnes had a career high 29 digs.
The Badgers, now 17-1, 8-1 in Big Ten, will travel to #9 Nebraska on Wednesday night.
