MADISON, WI (WSAU) — Badger back-up center Kaden Lyles announced on Monday he would enter the transfer portal.
Lyles had lost the center job to Joe Tippman and had not played in the last two games. He had spent five years in the Badger program and has started 16 games over the years and played in 34.
He said on Monday “With one year of college football left in my future, I’ve decided to bet on myself and will be transferring to a new program for my final season of eligibility. “My five years as part of the Wisconsin football program have given me some of the best times of my life and experiences I will never forget.”
Lyles joins wide receiver Devin Chandler and tailback Antwan Roberts in the transfer portal.
