MEDFORD, WI (WSAU) — The Taylor County Sheriff has identified the victim who was found along the side of a county road on Sunday.
Titus Kottke was found near the intersection of Hamm Drive and Elm Avenue early Sunday morning. An autopsy has shown that he died after being struck by a vehicle.
Kottke, age 27, was last seen alive at about 3:30 AM Sunday walking along the road about a mile from where he was found. Officers say witnesses have confirmed that he did visit several bars in the Medford area Saturday night into Sunday morning.
Sheriff Larry Woebbeking says anyone with further information on Kottke’s activities Saturday night into Sunday morning or potential information about the vehicle that hit him should call 715-748-2200. Woebbeking has not said if there are any suspects in the incident.
