ROTHSCHILD, Wis. (WSAU) — Get your motor running and help out the Muscular Dystrophy Association with the Wausau Ride for MDA.
It’s the 11th year of the event and Harley Davidson of Wausau marketing director Andrea Kass says the Ride is a perfect way to spend your weekend. “One, to support a great cause, two, just to have a good time and mingle with everyone here.”
On site registration and refreshments kick off this morning at 10 am in Rothschild at Harley Davidson. Kass says the party starts off tonight with a motorcycle parade through the Wausau Metro. “That’s leaving Marathon Park at 6 o’clock, and that will head back to Harley Davidson of Wausau where we’re going to have food and entertainment by Raised Reckless.”
The fun continues Saturday morning with breakfast starting at 7 am, and then the ride across central Wisconsin starting from HD Wausau. “From there, they’re going to head out to Bonnie and Clyde’s Gangster Park, have some lunch, finish up their fun runs, and come back here for some live live entertainment by Road Trip and some great raffle prizes.”
Registration is 30 dollars per rider. You can sign up online or on site on Friday. Everyone is welcome to come out to the events in Rothschild all weekend.
