WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — The Wausau School District is holding yet another community engagement session Monday at the John Muir Middle School Auditorium regarding facilities needs.
According to a news release from the district, Monday’s session will begin at 5 PM and will include more details on the costs and other specifics that could be included in a plan to merge some schools in the name of efficiency.
District leaders note that Monday’s information will be in response to a request from the community for more details/specifics on the idea and that leaders remain in the listening process on the situation.

It’s important to note that at this time there are no formal plans to merge any schools in the district.
