MADISON, WI (METRO) – Get ready to hear a lot more about the investigation into Wisconsin’s 2020 election.
Both the Wisconsin Elections Commission and the Assembly’s Committee on Elections are scheduled to meet tomorrow (Wednesday).
The Assembly’s committee is leading an investigation into last year’s election, and WEC is ready to respond to the recent election audit that found several problems at the agency.
This will be the first time elections commissioners will speak about the audit.
Also highlighting the hearing, former Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Mike Gableman, who is leading a second election investigation, is expected to testify before the committee.
Green Bay is one of several cities in the Badger state under the magnifying glass for what many Republicans claim are election irregularities last November.
Then candidate Joe Biden defeated then President Donald Trump in Wisconsin by about 21,000 votes.
