WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — A current Marathon County Supervisor and Wausau-based Attorney has announced plans to run for the Marathon County Circuit Court Judgeship currently held by Greg Huber.
In a Facebook post this week, William Harris announced he intends to run for the seat. Harris currently works for Wisconsin Judicare, a law firm dedicated to providing service to those that are underserved.
According to Harris’ bio on the Judicare website, he has been with the firm since 2018 as a staff attorney specializing in cases involving landlords and tenants and family law.
Harris says he looks forward to working with the community to make it stronger and safer for everyone.
Huber has served as a judge for the last 17 years, first by appointment and twice by re-election in 2010 and 2016. He does not intend to seek re-election again.
