NECEDAH, Wis. — Investigators have released the names of the people involved in a crash that killed one and injured two others Thursday.
Wisconsin State Patrol Sergeant Carrie Johnson says 44-year-old Christine M. Wierzchowski from Adams died when her Ford Escort collided with a Chrysler mini van on Highway 21 about a mile east of Necedah. 43-year-old Mary E. Spanton from Arkdale was driving the van. She and a four-year-old child were taken to a hospital for treatment.
Investigators concluded that Wirzchowski’s car crossed the centerline, striking Spanton’s van head on at 5:00 p.m. near 22nd Avenue.
