MADISON, WI (WSAU) — The Wisconsin men’s hockey weekend set against Ohio State has been postponed due to COVID-19 protocols.
The UW Athletic Department announced the news on Tuesday, saying due to the number of positive tests among players the two games would not be played as scheduled. The two schools will work with the Big Ten Conference to try to make up the games at a later date.
Fans with tickets for the games will be contacted directly regarding options for refunds or exchanges.
Wisconsin’s next Big Ten hockey action is scheduled for January 14th and 15th against Michigan State.
