WASHINGTON, DC (MetroSource-WSAU) — The White House is accusing Russia of plotting a “false-flag” operation in Eastern Ukraine.
Press Secretary Jen Psaki told reporters that the effort includes a massive misinformation campaign that could give Russia a reason to invade neighboring Ukraine. Psaki cited U.S. intelligence that Russia already has undercover operatives in Ukraine.
She warned about harsh economic consequences if Russia sends troops into Ukraine.
