STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) – The World’s Largest Trivia Contest was played over the weekend in Stevens Point. It’s the 48th annual event, a fundraiser for the UW-Stevens Point student radio station.
The winning team this year was Festivus For The Rest Of Us, with 19,360 points. They beat Dad’s Computers by 135 points. Trivia Fursuit came in third. Network finished fourth.Festivus won the trivia contest last year. Dad’s computers was the winner the year before that.
This year 358 teams took part. The event includes a trivia parade and a three days of questions and answers.
The trivia contest returns next year on April 13, 14, and 15.
