SCHOFIELD, WI (WSAU-WAOW) — A woman lost control of her car and crashed into a business in Schofield.
Just before 9 am on Wednesday morning a woman crashed her car into the side of the Coldwell Banker building on Grand Avenue in Schofield. Everest Metro Police Chief Clay Schultz told WAOW-TV that it seemed like the driver was going too fast through an intersection and lost control of her car.
Chief Schultz also said they think she hit the gas pedal instead of the break when crashing into the business.
No one was injured in the crash as the driver’s car smashed a hole into the wall of the business’ conference room. The driver was cited with going too fast for the conditions.
Coldwell Banker will remain open on Wednesday.
