WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — A Tomahawk man is accused of trying to meet an undercover officer posing as a 15-year-old girl for sex in Rib Mountain.
Joseph Wagner was arrested after police met him at the address and found condoms and lubricant in his vehicle. Wagner had been interacting with the “girl” through Facebook for about two weeks, sending her multiple inappropriate videos and photos.
Court documents indicate Wagner said he thought the girl was older than 15 because of her Facebook photos. He also indicated on more than one occasion that he wanted to have sex with her.
The 40-year-old is jailed on $5,000 bond. He will be back in court November 2nd to learn if his case will go to trial.
