MADISON, WI (MetroSource-WSAU) There’s a possibility the Wisconsin Supreme Court could have a say in the resistance to a probe on elections integrity.
Yesterday Assembly Speaker Robin Vos called on the state high court to intervene in a suit brought by Attorney General Josh Kaul in favor of the election commission.
Former state supreme court justice Michael Gableman issued subpoenas for depositions from elections commission members, the mayors of Madison and Green Bay and other officials in the elections probe. The officials so far aren’t complying.
Kaul says the officials will be glad to testify in a hearing at the state Capitol aren’t willing to be deposed in private by Gableman in his office.
