STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) — An employee of the 13th Floor bar in Stevens Point is now accused of helping pull off a weekend heist at the establishment.
Police say 39-year-old Vicky Ladecki, the employee who was held up while opening the bar on July 14th, was a knowing participant in the crime which took more than $10,000 off the business. Ladecki was arrested Tuesday morning and is being held in the Portage County jail on charges of Theft and Obstruction.
Also arrested were 30-year-old Charles A Miller of Wisconsin Rapids and Taydisa Strassburg, 25, of Stevens Point. They are the pair accused of walking into the bar and demanding the cash. Miller was arrested in Stevens Point and Strassburg was found in Wausau. Both are being held in the Portage and Marathon County jails, respectively, on outstanding warrants.
Charges against them have not been filed as the investigation continues, but police anticipated both will face at minimum Armed Robbery charges.
