STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point announced Thursday that community COVID-19 testing will be reduced at all campuses in Stevens Point, Wausau and Marshfield.
Stevens Point campus:
- Tests are in Science Building, Room C124, 2001 Fourth Avenue
- Through April 1, tests are offered Monday and Thursday 10am to 6pm Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 8am to 4pm.
- April 4-May 20, tests will be offered Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8am to 4pm.
Marshfield campus:
- Final day of testing is Monday, March 28 8am to 4pm in the physical education building, 2000 W. 5th Street.
Wausau:
- Final day of testing is Thursday, March 31 9am to 5pm at Marathon Park East Gate Hall, 801 Garfield Avenue
Appointments are required and can be made here.
UWSP says the changes reflect declining COVID-19 cases in campus communities and reduced demand for screening tests.
All UW campuses are now mask optional.
