TOWN OF LONGWOOD, WI (WSAU) — An 84-year-old man is dead following a crash in Clark County over the weekend.
Ambrose A. Schuh of Colby was traveling west on Highway 29 when he signaled a right turn. A milk truck following him moved to the left lane, however Schuh realizes he needed to turn left instead and quickly maneuvered to the other lane. His vehicle was then sideswiped by the truck.
Three of Schuh’s teenage passengers were injured in the crash including. A fourth 50-year-old passenger was not hurt. Schuh was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the truck, 51-year-old Todd Purgett, was not injured.
The Owen-Withee-Curtiss Area Fire Department and Ambulance Service responded to the crash along with the State Patrol and Clark County Sheriff’s office.
